A garrison of the Galactic Empire was active on Molos during the Imperial Era. The garrison was attacked during an uprising on Molos, during which the local Imperial Command Center was bombed with mining explosives. Eventually, Imperial Army reinforcements arrived, but were defeated during the subsequent Battle of Molopolis by an army supported by the Rebel Alliance.[1]
