A Mod scooter was a modified Zeta-150B grav scoot speeder used by the Mod gang in the streets of Mos Espa.
Description
Mod scooters were painted in bright colors of metal flake paint that made them stand out in the harsh desert environment of Tatooine.[4] While the repulsorcraft outwardly resembled a speeder bike, their slower speed and bulky chassis classified them as an open-air speeder.[2]
History
When the Mods stole water from the water monger Lortha Peel, they escaped on their customized scooters.[2] After they became employed by Boba Fett, the new Daimyo of Mos Espa, the Mods used their scooters to pursue Mok Shaiz's majordomo, who was attempting to evade capture in a luxury landspeeder, ultimately causing him to crash into a fruit cart.[3]
Later, they patrolled the spaceport on their grav scoots to monitor the arrival of Pyke Syndicate foot soldiers for Boba Fett[3] and once open conflict began for control of the city, escaped the Worker's District after being ambushed by the Aqualish crime family.[5]
