A Miyuki splice core was a type starship processor that utilized a hard-wired cognitive module to manage multiple ship enhancements. It was developed during the High Republic Era during the heyday of the Miyuki Trade League.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] versions of the splice core still existed and were sold by merchants affiliated Miyuki Trade League for 4500 credits[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess purchased a Miyuki splice core to upgrade the Trailblazer, her EML-850 light freighter.[1]
Behind the scenes
Miyuki splice cores first appeared in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] In the game, players can purchase the core upgrade to increase the number of passive systems that the they can have equipped to their ship at one time.[1]
