Mission to Trenchant space station

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The Mission to Trenchant space station was a skirmish fought between Asajj Ventress, Durge, and General Grievous in the Clone Wars.

The mission

Count Dooku sent Asajj Ventress and the Gen'Dai bounty hunter Durge on a mission to Space Station Trenchant. The real purpose on the mission was to select the new Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies. The third candidate for the role was the cyborg, General Grievous.^[1]

The pair started on their mission to identify their common enemy, reaching the trophy room together which was filled with Jedi robes and lightsabers. Armed with an electrostaff Grievous appeared and defeated Durge initially. Asajj then arrived and fought Grievous, who was again victorious.^[1]

The pair then teamed up, Asajj using her paired lightsabers and Durge unleashing his full arsenal, including his energized bolas. The pair seemed victorious as Asajj knocked the electrostaff away. Grievous, though, was far from beaten, and unleashed his lightsabers. The pair was quickly defeated by his lightsaber skills.^[1]

Aftermath

Grievous, as the victor, was appointed Commander of the Separatist Droid Army.^[3]
