- "Son-tuul Pride surrender your leaders now. They have been found guilty of violating Imperial law for aiding the illegal organization known as Crimson Dawn. This unit, designate IG-88, has been authorized to use terminal force if there is no compliance within 25 seconds."
- ―IG-88
Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the bounty hunter IG-88 undertook a mission to[2] the planet[4] Son-tuul on behalf of the Galactic Empire to take the leaders of the Son-tuul Pride into custody after they had assisted Crimson Dawn, who the Empire had placed a bounty on. Rodian members of the Pride had been attempting to leave Son-tuul via the Son-tuul Spaceport aboard a shuttle when IG-88 arrived and stated his demands for the leaders to be surrendered within twenty-five seconds, or he was authorized to use terminal force. A leader of the Son-tuul Pride then threatened the hunter for daring to attack them, to which IG-88 simply repeated he had been authorized to use terminal force if they did not comply, and informed them they now had eighteen seconds.[2]
As IG-88 stood still in the spaceport, a Rodian questioned what the droid was doing. IG-88 informed them he was waiting for their surrender, or for the allotted time for compliance to expire. The Rodians opened fire on IG-88 with the another Rodian adding that they wanted to show the hunter they would die before they surrendered, terms IG-88 accepted. IG-88 then began to fire on the Rodians, killing two of them. The leader declared that it could not end this way as it was only one droid, and the other remaining Rodian charged at the droid. IG-88 grabbed them by the throat, adding his thanks to the Rodian for making their death more convenient to him, and broke the Rodians neck, before throwing them to the ground. The leader then surrendered and reminded IG-88 he had promised them mercy if they surrendered. The droid shot the leader, explaining that the offer to surrender had expired eight seconds prior.[2]
With the Rodians killed, IG-88 logged the bounty, and received a request from the Empire for another bounty, Vukorah,[2] the Grand Leader of the Unbroken Clan,[5] which IG-88 accepted.[2]
