During the Eiram and E'ronoh War of between^[1] 387 BBY and 382 BBY,^[2] Lina undertook what should have been a routine recon mission to Eiram's western isles. During the mission, her aged starfighter's thrusters malfuctioned moments after take-off, and caused her to crash into the Ramshead Gorge. Because of the public outcry caused by the malfunction, Monarch A'lbaran leased a plot of mountains in Eiram's southern hemisphere to Corellia for thirty-six devilfighters.^[1]
