Members of the Galactic Republic Army's elite rocket-jumper unit were sent on a mission to the planet of Cyborrea at some point before the conflict known as the Freedon Nadd Uprising[1] that happened in the year 3998 BBY.[2] During their assignment, the elite soldiers had to drop to the planet's surface with rocket packs and full space gears from an altitude of sixteen miles.[1]
