Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

During the Desolator crisis, a young Jedi Knight was sent on a mission to the planet Alderaan in order to destroy the Republic superweapon known as the Death Mark laser. Along with the astromech droid T7-O1, the Knight's Padawan Kira Carsen, and the Knight's former master Orgus Din, the Jedi was able to locate and destroy the weapon, despite subterfuge perpetrated by an Imperial double-agent by the name of Aleyna Hark. Tracking the weapon's control center to the base of Lord Nefarid, one of the apprentices of the Sith Lord Darth Angral—the instigator of the crisis—the Knight was able to defeat the Sith and target the Death Mark's central computer with the weapon itself, but Master Din was killed attempting to sneak aboard Angral's flagship, the Oppressor.

The Old Republic — The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY.
