Mission on Leyoye Prime

The Mission on Leyoye Prime was an operation during the Clone Wars. Confederacy of Independent Systems operatives were contracted by the CIS to plant a bomb on a city in Leyoye Prime and escape. The unit, comprised Poan of Riek, Baby Yezz, Seebee One, Bargaz Barnok, and Alvadorjian Soujen Vak-Nhalis, managed to plant the explosive, but found themselves without any means to exfiltrate. Unaided by battle droids or starships, the unit fought for survival against the Galactic Republic forces, being pushed back kilometer by kilometer. A Jedi pressed the advance by cutting bunker shells with their lightsaber. Out of their unit, only Poan and Vak-Nhalis managed to survive.[1]

The Mission on Leyoye Prime appeared in memory in the 2025 novel Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear, written by Alexander Freed as the first installment of the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy.[1]
