Mining stations were space stations that were used for mining operations in space and asteroid fields. One notable mining station during the Imperial Era was the Toshaal Atmospheric Mining Station, which was considered to be ageing and in need of refurbishment around 3 ABY.[1][2]

Another notable mining station during the New Republic Era was Nightside, a large ice mining station in the Therezar system operated by Zargo Anaximander. Nightside also had a city-like complex with housing, ships and restaurants for its miners.[3]
