The Mining Fields was a region on the planet Mustafar. It was the primary mining area of the Mensix Mining Company during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Mining Fields appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[5] The Mining Fields were added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.[1]
