Minik was a Sullustan male who served as a security officer aboard the Valor-class cruiser Telos, a flagship of the Republic Navy, in the early days of the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Officer Minik was assigned to guard Fleet Admiral Oteg's briefing room aboard the Telos.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Security Officer Minik appears in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as one of the couriers for the Republic faction's mission "The Jedi Prisoner," if players have not already acquired the mission from Oteg's droid MP-77.^[1]
