By 19 BBY,[2] on the Unknown Regions planet Solitair, the Garwian dame Mimott, who created elaborate outfits for Garwian remembrance parties, used an old-looking and refurbished sewing machine from the Fifteenth Era.[1]

Mimott's sewing machine appeared in the flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
