The Military Oversight Committee was a committee of the Galactic Senate that had oversight over the Republic Military during the Clone Wars. Roonan Senator Aang held the deciding vote in the group.[1] The committee continued to function during the earliest months of the reign of the Galactic Empire and in a discussion with Senator Mon Mothma after the passage of the Imperial Rebirth Act, Grand Vizier Mas Amedda suggested that she join the committee to remain informed about the conscription of volunteers for the Imperial Military.[2]

The Military Oversight Committee first appeared in "Evil Plans," the eighth episode of the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' third season,[1] which originally aired on November 5, 2010.[3]
