Mid Rim News,[1] also called Mid Rim Network,[2] was a news organization that existed during the Imperial Era. It shared its name with the region of the galaxy known as the Mid Rim. In 2 BBY, the human Cassian Andor checked into a hotel next to Palmo Plaza on the planet Ghorman while posing as a journalist from Mid-Rim News named Ronni Googe. Thela, an employee at the hotel, remarked that he had never heard of the organization while checking Andor in.[1] Two days later, Andor used the same alias to gain media access to the Imperial Senate Building on the planet Coruscant.[2]
