Mick Giacchino is the composer of the 2024 live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. He is the son of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story composer Michael Giacchino. As such he was granted early experiences with composing music. His father showed him Star Wars as a child and took him to live performances by Star Wars' composer John Williams.
Mick Giacchino has been a professional composer since 2015. He is best known for his composition of the score for the 2024 television series The Penguin,[2] a spin-off of the film The Batman, which was scored by his father.[3] Skeleton Crew creators Jon Watts and Christopher Ford had previously already worked together with Michael Giacchino on the films Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home.[2]
