Michel Parbot (1937–August 3, 2008) was a French journalist and cameraman.[1] He directed the 1980 television documentary The Making of "The Empire Strikes Back"[2], and is credited as a cameraman on SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back.[3] He also directed and filmed a The Empire Strikes Back documentary segment for the French television show Temps X.[4][5] All those documentaries share footage to some extent.[4][6]
Parbot is known for being the only journalist able to cover and film the 1983 Invasion of Grenada.[7]
