Merkatto Tam was a human female Mandalorian enforcer for the Czerka Arms Chief Engineer Mex Briggam. Mex brought her along to Mek-Sha to assist him in torturing the smuggler Jaca Fatal for information regarding stolen astronomical data, however the Alliance Commander interrupted the torture session after Merkatto had only landed two blows. Afterwards, Merkatto waited with Mex for Jaca and the commander to returned from the Unmasked research station.[1]
