Merith

Merith was an Alderaanian individual, who served aboard the Alderaanian gunship Aegis during the Galactic Civil War. After the destruction of Alderaan. the crew of the gunship, including Merith, became pirates, under the command of Captain Caline Metara. After Metara's death, Merith and the rest of the Aegis crew helped the rebels, and above all Princess Leia Organa, in their plan to board the Imperial freighter Darsumae and free the Rebel hostages captured by Commander Degoren.^[1]
