Mekkar Doan was a Human male chief petty officer in the Imperial Navy assigned to Superlaser Fire Control on the first Death Star during the Galactic Civil War. There, he was employed at the main control console of the tractor beam, where he worked with Fleet Gunnery Officer Tenn Graneet.
