During the Clone Wars, Mekedrix, the leader of the Death Wind terrorist group and former commander of the Galactic Republic, wielded a sword made from the bones of a Republic clone trooper. He eventually used the sword to attack Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi when the latter and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker attempted to apprehend Mekedrix and return him to the Republic to answer for his war crimes.[1]
