Mei was a human child aboard a refugee ship over the planet Inoli.[2] She[1] owned a Tooka doll named Imly.[2]
Behind the scenes
Mei appeared in "The Lost Ones," a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, directed by Hitoshi Haga and written by Haga and Takahito Oonishi. The animated short, produced by Kinema Citrus Co., was released on Disney+[2] on October 29, 2025.[3] Concept art featuring Mei was created by Shiori Tani.[4] Before her appearance in the short film, Mei was first pictured in a Star Wars: Visions Filmmaker Focus video uploaded to the official Star Wars YouTube channel the day before the short's release.[5]
