Meditations was a book written by Jedi Master Evelyn Qwisp[1] by 231 BBY. By that year,[2] copies of the book were available from the archives of the Jedi Temple on[1] the Core Worlds[3] planet Coruscant.[1] That year,[2] Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus requested a copy of the book while stationed on the space station Starlight Beacon. After Vitus and his Padawan Reath Silas returned to the station following their visit to[1] the Expansion Region[3] planet Genetia, the Master informed his Padawan that he was going to visit Jedi Master Avar Kriss—the Jedi marshal of the station—to see if she had heard any news about his request for a copy of the book.[1]

Meditations was mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
