A medical scanner,[1] also known as a medscanner,[2] or medical sensor was a type of scanner used to do medical diagnostics on various lifeforms, and was generally included aboard starships and in various hospitals. The Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano utilized a medical scanner aboard the Twilight to check the huttlet Rotta, Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son's medical status upon rescuing him from the Separatists.[3]
