A medical bandage patch was a small patch used to bandage the incision made during a surgical operation. It was used by the Kaminoans in 19 BBY.
History
The patch used on Tup.
In 19 BBY,[2] medical droid AZI-3 used one of these patches during the extraction of an inhibitor chip from the brain of clone trooper Tup. After the incision was made and the bandage put in place, AZ-3 was able to suck the biochip directly from the brain, straight through the blue ray shield in the center of the patch to a container.[1]
The droid later performed the same operation on Fives with the same result. The patch was later removed; no trace of the incision was underneath.[3]
