A med-spike was an injection device filled with a powerful stimulant, provided in medical kits during the Imperial Era. Vel Sartha used one to treat Karis Nemik for shock after his chest was crushed by an unsecured load of credit ingots. The stimulant kept Nemik conscious for a few minutes to navigate through the Eye of Aldhani.^[1]
