Credit ingot

Credit ingots were a physical form of credits,^[1] the standard currency in the Galactic Republic^[2] and later the Galactic Empire.^[3] They were small, flat, rectangular bars of gold- and silver-colored metal, the silver ones being a bit longer than the gold ones. They had symbols stamped onto their surface, including the credit symbol ().^[4] Credit ingots could be stacked into blocks that held themselves together for transportation.^[5]

Another means of carrying credits was through credit chips.^[6]
