Meal bars were a type of ration used during the Imperial Era. Meal bars came in different types with some being labeled in Aurebesh as beans.[1]

In 4 BBY, after three days of being stranded on Yavin 4, a group of Maya Pei Brigade members had nine meal bars left with two looking a moldy. Plug, a member of the group suggested that they give their prisoner, Cassian Andor, a moldy one to see what happens.[1]

Meal bars appeared "Sagrona Teema", the second episode of the second season, of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor[1] which aired on April 22, 2025.[2]
