Maya-12

Maya-12, or Maya-Twelve, was an independent Maya-series holodroid who operated on the planet Metagos. She was based out of the bar Vin-Vin's Wheelhouse in the city New Xaxxis, using the establishment to connect with clients for a range of tasks that included bodyguarding, language lessons, massage, private investigation, and therapy. By switching out chips, Maya was able to exchange "modes" for different jobs, but could also sometimes run multiple modes at once in her memory bank. These modes shifted her personality and behaviors and abilities. Some modes could also prevent her from remembering details about cases when she was not actively working on them. Maya-12 attended the bar alongside her sister droids, Maya-8 and Maya-14, who worked as acrobatic dancers in the Xaxxis Axis Quartette. Maya-12 encountered the undercover Jedi Master Mace Windu when he entered the bar during his mission to Metagos and helped him enthusiastically and the two became friends and she helped him during the ensuing fighting.^[1]
