Master of the Hutt Clan was a title assigned by the Hutt Clan to the individual who oversaw cartel operations within a star system.[1] By 22 BBY,[2] the Hutt crime lord[3] Ziro Desilijic Tiure had acquired the title on seven systems. Despite those positions,[1] his control over a criminal syndicate on[4] the Core Worlds[3] planet Coruscant itself,[4] and his position as a Vigo within the Black Sun syndicate,[5] Ziro still lusted for even greater power and hoped to usurp control over the entire Hutt Clan.[1] In 22 BBY,[2] Ziro's most trusted assassin—the IG-86 sentinel droid KRONOS-327—returned to Ziro's Palace on Coruscant, where he referred to Ziro by his seven Master of the Hutt Clan titles in an apology about a failed mission to the twelfth moon of Yout.[1] The angered[4] Ziro responded to his failure by demanding the droid be reduced to spare parts.[1]

Behind the scenes

The title Master of the Hutt Clan appeared through Ziro in the 2008 film Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[1]
