Master Sergeant was a military rank within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Alliance E522 assassin droids, despite being quite liked and respected for the bravery and intelligence they showed in service to the rebellion, developed cynical and demanding personalities, so much so that Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service agents described them as "everyone's least favorite Master Sergeant."[1]
