The Massassi Isle was an island on the jungle moon Yavin 4. It was located in an ocean off the Taurin Delta. After the Rebel Alliance had evacuated the moon following the Battle of Yavin, several skirmishes took place on this island between Alliance and Imperial Special Forces. Several bunkers had been built here.[1]

The Massassi Isle was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] The Massassi Isle was one of the four "battlefields" added to the game upon the release of the "Game Update 10," on June 2, 2009.[3] The Massassi Isle battlefield was a player versus player combat zone where Imperial and Rebel players had to fight for the control of the island. It was only accessible by participating in the Massassi Isle battlefield instance.[1]
