The Marcadia system was a part of the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Inner Rim.[1] It shared its name with the starship type known as the Marcadian luxury cruiser.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Marcadia system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square N-14.[1]
