Magnetic couplers were a type of magnetic device. The non-Force-sensitive Jedi hopeful Lohim Nara stole the magnetic couplers from the chargers at a refueling station the planet Coruscant and after tinkering with them, hid them in his sleeve in order to mimic the ability to summon a lightsaber from the ground using the Force. He successfully deployed this trick while aiding Jedi Initiate Reina Bilass in fighting the Ganzee Gang.[1]
