A magfield sensor ball was a type of sensory input device that was utilized in the Mark II reactor drone, a model of droid. It consisted of a metal ball contained inside of a contact cage, which allowed for the droid to "perceive" its surroundings when the ball hit the cage. The magfield sensor ball also included a neutral polarity node.[1]
