The Maerdocia system was a star system located within the Maerdocian sector, a part of the galactic regions known as the Mid Rim[1] and the Slice.[2] It shared its name with a Maerdocian Senator of the New Republic Senate.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Maerdocia system was established in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square Q-13.[2]
