- "Looks like you used a macro protocol to wipe them all simultaneously. Impressive."
- ―Anakin Skywalker, to Jaybo Hood
A macro protocol could be used to wipe the memories[2] of multiple droids simultaneously. During the Clone Wars, Jaybo Hood, a young human boy from Iego, used a macro protocol on a squad of battle droids left behind by the Confederacy of Independent Systems when they abandoned his homeworld, after which he spent nine months reprogramming them into his personal servants.[1]
Behind the scenes
Macro protocols were first mentioned in "Mystery of a Thousand Moons," the eighteenth episode of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' first season,[1] which originally aired on February 13, 2009.[3]
