―Akaavi Spar and ME-K4, on the location of Jemala Ha'rangir[1]

ME-K4 was an astromech droid who resided on the planet Tatooine during the Third Galactic War[1] around 3623 BBY.[2] During the Alliance Commander and Akaavi Spar's mission to Tatooine to locate Jemala Ha'rangir, a Hidden Chain defector, Akaavi asked if the droid had transported a Mandalorian. The droid first denied access to the information. After Akaavi transferred the usual fee, ME-K4 revealed that the defector had gone to the Northern Jundland Wastes, though the droid could not provide a more specific location.[1]

Behind the scenes

ME-K4 first appeared in the Galactic Threads storyline released in Game Update 7.8: Pursuit of Ruin, released on December 9, 2025, as part of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith,[3] the eighth digital expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]
