The MDF motivator was a model of motivator[1] meant to be installed in torture droids.[2] MerenData used them in the production of illegal droids for the House of Tagge.[1] An employee at MerenData accidentally substituted a case of MDF motivators for a case of EV motivators during the construction of the EV-series supervisor droid. The result was a large number of EV-series supervisor droids being released to the market with ruthless, vicious, and psychotic temperaments.[3]
