The Mécateks were a rudimentary society of individuals made up of many different alien species. They resided on the Gorgorror, a biomechanical ship that would capture other ship. The Mécateks, who survived being captured by the Gorgorror, lived within the tangled wrecks of ships that were closest to the Gorgorror's hull. An individual's rank in the hierarchy was tattooed on their forehead. The ranks were I, II, III, IV, and V, with V being the highest rank in the hierarchy.[1]
