Lyseed seasoning was a type of seasoning. The culinary septoid droid BX-778 sautéed Lee romay with a sprinkle of lyseed seasoning.[1] The Weequay Hondo Ohnaka used lyseed seasoning to sauté Blue Puff Cubes, however his meal was stolen by a Porg he named Puffy.[3] Lyseed seasoning was also used to season some popped grains at Kat Saka's Kettle in Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Batuu.[2]
Behind the scenes
Lyseed seasoning first appeared in the canon novel Last Shot. It eventually appeared in the real world to guests visiting Kat Saka's Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland in Anaheim, California in early January, 2025. The menu description of the Lyseed Popped Grains snack revealed that lyseed seasoning was the real-world "Dill Pickle Seasoning."[4]
