The lyaer'tsa was a traditional weapon in Twi'lek culture. It consisted of a staff with a vibroblade equipped at one end. The Twi'lek bounty hunter and member of the Spice Runners of Kijimi Marinda Gan owned a lyaer'tsa, which she wielded against the droid crew of a Moraysian cruiser that had been stolen by the mercenary Ledesmar during a Spice Runner mission.[1]
