A Rendili StarDrive Y-wing was operated by Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker in 5 ABY during the early days of the New Republic. While on a mission to save ex-Imperial Triclops from a mind-controlling device imbedded in his skull, Luke Skywalker flew this Y-wing with a crew consisting of R2-D2, Jedi Prince Ken, Chewbacca and C-3PO from Yavin IV to the planet Arzid. After landing the Y-wing within the mushroom forests of Arzid, the crew searched the planet for Macaab Mushrooms, a fungus detrimental to the removal of Triclops' implant. When Luke and Ken were abducted by agents of the Prophets of the Dark Side, Chewbacca took over as the Y-wing's pilot and alerted the New Republic of Luke and Ken's capture.^[1]
