Loyood was a Hutt with a feminine personality who was a member of the Gorensla kajidic, one of the leading Hutt clans. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, Loyood oversaw many of Gorensla's clandestine gun-running operations, including arms sales to the Rebel Alliance and other resistance groups. She made regular visits to the various shadowports in which Gorensla operated.[1]
