- ""Lost Legends of the High Republic"?"
"I-it's dissertation research." - ―Chelli Aphra and Eustacia Okka
"Lost Legends of the High Republic" was an academic text that shared its name[1] with the time period known as the High Republic Era.[2] The University of Bar'leth student Eustacia Okka researched it while preparing her dissertation during the Imperial Era[1] between 11 BBY and 3 BBY.[3] While in a class taught by Sava Toob-Nix, Okka read "Lost Legends of the High Republic" on a datapad while her classmate and friend Chelli Lona Aphra slept. After class, Okka told Aphra to not sleep during the class, and Aphra replied by stating that she had noticed that Okka was not paying attention either and instead reading "Lost Legends of the High Republic." Okka stammered that it was dissertation research and admitted that she was aware that the text was weird and likely sounded stupid, but Aphra reassured her that she did not need to worry, noting Okka was too focused on what other people thought.[1]
