- "When I was nearly captured in the Lorn system some time ago, it was the Sandwind operatives who helped me find the Vuzsa safehouse and hole up until Moff Murquan gave up on me…"
- ―Tiree, personal addendum to Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex file on the "Jundland Banshee"
The Lorn system was located in the Outer Rim Territories' Dalchon sector.[1] At some point by 2 ABY,[4] Moff Murquan of the Galactic Empire nearly captured the Rebel Alliance agent Tiree in the Lorn system. At that point, the Alliance's Sandwind group, based out of the planet Tatooine in[3] the neighboring[5] Arkanis sector, helped Tiree locate the Rebel safehouse at[3] the Arkanis sector world[2] Vuzsa, allowing him to wait out until the Imperials stopped looking for him. Tiree eventually relayed the incident in a personal addendum to the Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security's SecuriDex datafile on the rogue Tusken Raider known as the "Jundland Banshee."[3]
Behind the scenes
The Lorn system was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed it in grid square R-17.[2]
