Lorista was a terrestrial planet[4] located in the Lorista system, a part of the Glythe sector[1] in the New Territories portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] Its surface featured wastelands in which grew the flith flower, and it was also home to the vicious predatory creature bruth.[4]
At some point, Lorista was colonized by members of the Zabrak species from[5] the Glythe sector[6] planet Iridonia.[5] Loristan colonists eventually domesticated the bruth.[4]
Behind the scenes
Lorista was first mentioned in Peter Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker's 2003 Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Galactic Campaign Guide.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Lorista system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square J-7.[3]
