The Lonnigan duplicating apparatus was a type of scientific instrument used during the High Republic Era. Aspiring scientist Avon Starros had one set up in Professor Glenna Kip's lab at Port Haileap which she intended to use in her experiments to try and replicate a kyber crystal. However, Starros was kidnapped by the Nihil pirates before she could carry out the experiment.[1]
