The longeing whip was a tool used to guide riderless beasts or drive teams of creatures. Made by companies like Piccatech Ltd. and Xenovet, it consisted of a one to two-meter-long composite or leather-wrapped haft and a thin, flexible lash that extended another two meters. Primarily used to make noise and direct distracted animals, the whip could also serve as an improvised weapon. Its length and flexibility allowed it to keep threats at a distance, and the lash could entangle or distract an assailant.[1]
