Locking clamps were components used in the Defender sporting blaster pistol. The weapon could break down into three pieces for easy concealment. This was achieved by entering a three-digit code into an access panel located above the trigger. Once entered, the locking clamps and magnetic fasteners released and disassembled the blaster.[1]
